Eric KHELLAS

Born in Tarare in the Rhône in 1973, Eric Khellas lives in Lyon where he spent his childhood and adolescence.

After studying oenology and viticulture, he worked in large wine-growing regions (Beaujolais, Burgundy, Côtes du Rhône, Bordeaux).

Eric Khellas writes a book in 2001 (“De Tout et de Rien”) which will be published in 2009.

He begins to paint in the early 2000s, and has since realized, a hundred paintings. He works all his paintings in acrylic paint, mixing different techniques, mainly brushes and knives.
Mainly abstract, without true definite style, but inspired by many different painters, he essentially paints to instinct.

Since 2016, Eric Khellas has exhibited his paintings in 4 collective shows and a great solo exhibition in Lyon.
