Full Spring !

Because winter has been harsh and long, it is all the more important to celebrate the return of Spring! Finally a reason to rejoice, to take advantage of the announced return of mildness and sunshine.

Art, too, exists through this season of renewal. Our artists are all inspired by Spring and express it in their artworks. Once again, art is a great way to live and bring emotions to life, because it allows escape and daydreaming.

On the occasion of the return of Spring, we have prepared a selection of works chosen especially for their relationship to this season.

Take advantage of free delivery in France and Europe until March 31 (excluding XL formats) to order the painting that will best suit your interior.

New Talents

Nicolas Hil

The artist invites us to pierce the emotion of his subjects through singular framing, abolishing the context to play with the conventions of classical portraiture.

As a lover of matter, Nicolas Hil uses encaustic paint to emphasize the roughness of those he paints, far from the digital representations that smooth out everyday life.

The granularity of his paintings evokes the relief of each personality and contributes to the energy they provide. The textures pile up there like the accidents that sculpt our lives.

« The patterns float, their gaze pierces, freed from all gravity. »

Ckraft

« I am unable to say where my inspiration comes from, even if my eye is often challenged by the materials, their architectures and the entanglements. I can’t define my style, put words and references on it. I draw spontaneously and when I start to put the lines together, the shapes start a movement that evolves instinctively.

It’s the same process for the paintings, I have a certain idea of what I’m going to do when I start, then this idea evolves over the strokes. My paintings do not particularly tell a story. I prefer that each look is a personal experience and that everyone walks in the middle of the movements. This is also the reason why my paintings have a number and not a title. »

Tropel

From his childhood, Tropel has always been attracted and fascinated by drawing, then he approached oil painting with an artistic style influenced by impressionist painters such as Monet or Renoir.

His evolution leads him to suggest rather than show, he plays with colors and shapes, he dresses, models the character with collages and geometric shapes to energize the painting.

« The challenge for an artist is to create works where light, movement and matter combine, making each creation radiate to provoke emotion. »
