Born in 1974 in Montpellier, Caroline is a self-taught artist. She grows up and spends much of her life so far in a seaside resort created in the 70s, La Grande-Motte.
Curious, Caroline will naturally turn to creative hobbies from an early age. Later, she will be influenced by the particular architecture that surrounds her and also very attracted by the design. With the rhythm of the summer and winter seasons, over the contrasts of crowd and absence, she will constantly seek to find her balance.
It is in an impression of weightlessness, a suspended time that she manages to give birth to her drawing mixing movement, sea air, beach games, music and graphics. She uses simple materials, markers, ink, paper, which offer her a naive and light style.

“Creation is for me a strange impulse that expresses what needs to be.
Art, a universal language where everyone is free to interpret … “

Gallery’s Eye

Caroline brings gaiety and freshness to her works by oscillating between surrealism and abstract. The artist lets herself be carried away by her instinct, without imposing a precise vision to the spectator.
She leads the viewer to expressive works. These are inspired by her personal experiences and different moments of her existence. She breathes into each canvas spontaneity and gaiety.
The real and the unreal mingle with the detour of subjects that Caroline loves such as sea and nature. Her art transports us into a psychedelic universe that can’t leave us indifferent.
The story of her compositions is told at the edge of the line between surface and space. Helped by light and shadow, the game of extension, interruption and intersection of lines is another rhythm, another balance.
Caroline expresses herself by dynamic and intense compositions in colors. The key to read her paintings is revealed in the meeting areas.
