Emmanuelle Masson a.k.a. Ema.M. was born in Paris in 1963.
Her painting… or her bubble as she defines it is essential in her life from an early age. Beyond a passion, it is an addiction…
After studying Arts abroad, a while to Saatchi & Saatchi, a career in modeling and advertising, Ema.m soon admitted that, it is in her bubble that she feels alive, freed from all constraints and that she expresses herself, communicates and shares. Then, she will never get out of it… “My bubble is my refuge”.
It is from 2006 that her work is presented to the public: New York, Cannes, Paris, Istanbul…
In September 2012, Ema.M receives the 1st painting prize “Artist of the World” at the international contemporary art exhibition in Cannes where she exhibits among her works, a daring interpretation of the portrait of Picasso which will be congratulated by the godmother of the event : Ms. Marina Picasso.
Ema.m lives her art through her emotions. She feeds on her history, her dreams and her delusions.
Her works are the subject of heterogeneous assemblies of different materials, superimpositions, materials and explosive colors which collide in psychedelic harmonies, and revealing the soul of the artist.
Passionate about the exciting energy of Berlin, Ema.m left Cannes in December 2016 to find her new center of life. The culture, people and lifestyle of the city which she absorbed like a sponge and which also influenced her art.
Ema.m loves the abstract and the surreal. The award-winning works in modern pop style are abstract and surreal, but expressive and intense. “Each work carries emotions and is part of a story. Your story.” Ema.M.
